Publisher Description
William Golding's classic novel of primitive savagery and survival is one of the most vividly realized and riveting works in modern fiction. The tale begins after a plane wreck deposits a group of English school boys, aged six to twelve on an isolated tropical island. Their struggle to survive and impose order quickly evolves from a battle against nature into a battle against their own primitive instincts. Golding's portrayal of the collapse of social order into chaos draws the fine line between innocence and savagery.

I fell like it is a good book,
I just listened to a little bit of the book .but I fell like it is a good book ,I’m not in the right grade to read it in school but i like reading on my free time. And at first I did not entirely but now I do and from the little bit that I read this is an amazing book I highly recommend it if you are looking for a good book.the narrator is a good author but as the narrator his voice is a little bit annoying but you will not think it is so annoying at the end. God bless you all.🐖
