Publisher Description

Moving with my three best friends and our seven kids into a dilapidated brownstone in Boston may have seemed like the most insane thing I’d do this year. Apparently the universe said hold my beer.

Because last night I got drunk and married my boss.

Don’t worry, it’s all fake. Or at least everything after 'I Do' will be.

Beckett Langfield is grumpy, rich and hates kids. I’m an overworked, overstressed, and overweight single mom. The only reason we’re getting married is because he needs to fix a PR disaster and I am available. As in sitting next to him, in a bar, when he has this brilliant idea.

Considering I just got divorced, I’m not looking to do that again. But Beckett makes me an offer that I literally can’t refuse, so I don’t.

He’ll help fix up our broken house and all I have to do is take a few pictures and pretend we’re happily married.

Easy peasy.

Now if someone could just remind him that it’s all fake.

Authors Note: Mother Faker is book one of the Momcoms Series and features an accidental marriage between a billionaire grump and a plus size single mom who happens to work for him where there is only one bed, tons of laughs, a lot of ducks, and it's always been you vibes.

Brilliant Story & Narration🎧 Delightfully Entertaining!

O.M.G. this book is absolutely amazing, and I loved everything about it, from Brittanée Nicole’ wonderful writing style to the fabulous characters and storylines she created to the perfectly cast narrators who bring it all to life from the pages to your ears. I knew from the prequel that this book and series are going to be something special. In the prequel, we meet the moms and how momcoms came about, how a group of single moms moved in to a brownstone that is in falling apart and in much need of repair. Those single moms are four friends, Liv, Delia, Shayla and Dylan and their children, seven in total, a handful individually, never mind when they are all together. But the moms are all supportive of each other and it works for them. This first book is Liv’s story, mother of three, two daughters and a son, recently divorced after catching her husband having an affair with their nanny. She also works full time and has a grumpy and very needy boss, Beckett Langfield. I absolutely adored Beckett, he is just misunderstood and everything he does gets twisted. He has been getting bad press about being a children hater and it is not reflecting well for his company, so his father wants him to turn things around, suggesting he marry someone with children. After hearing about her divorce, Beckett knows the perfect person to become his wife, and she has three children, too. This is not your usual marriage of convenience, accidental Vegas wedding type of story, it is refreshingly original, which makes you love it even more, that and all layers of the story. The witty humor and dialogue are brilliant, and there is no shortage of laugh-out-loud moments. The way I see the Shining twins will never be the same. LOL This fabulously plotted story has the perfect balance of drama, humor, heartwarming moments, heartfelt emotions and a steamy romance. Brittanée Nicole, thank you for this amazing story, the laughs and the emotional rollercoaster ride. This is definitely on the top of my list of favorite books of the year and I am looking forward to the rest of the series.

🎧📚🎧 Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden are amazing storytellers and their an outstanding performance is not only entertaining but a treat to your ears. Their portrayal of the characters is spot on, and I love how they take each role and make it their own, sounding believable and just as I imagine the characters to sound. Arden as Beckett is swoon worthy perfection, he grasps every side of his personality, from his grumpiness to his loving and caring side. Mitchell was equally amazing as Liv, and also grasping every aspect of her personality, from her insecurities to her strengths and all in between. Both were just as fabulous performing all the other roles, including the children’s, in the most adorable way. They set the perfect tone for the story, handled the witty dialogue naturally and with ease, landing the humor effortlessly. You could hear how much heart they put into their performance as they captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling each one. These mega talented voice artists make a great team and their performance elevates this already brilliant story to another level. Thank you for another exceptional listen.
