An occult apologetic
This book is little more than the authors defense of ritual magic, astrology, and the occult. If he had stuck to presenting historical events he would have had a much more interesting story to tell. Admittedly, some explanation is necessary; not everyone is familiar with occult practices. However, an approach that left the reader to decide whether or not the “magic” used by the Nazis and the Allies would have been more effective than being told how and what “magic” was effective.
The author obviously is invested in a magical worldview that is antagonistic to established religion. I was left wishing I had bought a more scholarly work.
