By far this is one of the BEST Novels in the Jack Reacher Series
This is the WORST Reacher book…
I love reacher books, I’ve read all of them in chronological order. And this is the first one I ever wanted to close mid way through and never pick up again. It’s an inherently, meaningless and obvious book that never gets off its feet, and never gets going. It’s like listening to somebody describe how they’re going to write a dictionary… word for word. I genuinely wish I had skipped this one—
Absolutely Boring
The plot was simply too predictable and the story just dragged on and on. The whole story could have been told in a shorter time and the author could have introduced more twist and better layering. And what’s up with “female” voice from the narrator. The tone sounded so funny and unreal. I’ve heard better female voice impersonation from other narrators. This one was simply bad. I just wanted to get the book done as quickly as I could. Not buying another Jack Reacher novel. Just watch it in Prime Video - I think that’s a lot more entertaining.
