Five Stars

Great audiobook; John de Lancie and Majel Barrett provide an exceptional narration and truly brings the charactrers to life. If you enjoy the character Q, you will enjoy this book; Lwaxana and Q going head to head is simply classic. I would recomennd this book to any fan of the series.

One of the Best

This audio recording is a joy! Peter David is one of the best Star Trek authors. Both John de Lancie and Majel Barret act this one out, narrating energetically and obviously as much in love with the characters and story as you will be by the end. You may want to note that this recording is an abridgement; they leave out the Wesley bits. You won't miss him much for the plot, and the two actors reading together well makes up for anything missing from the book. Enjoy it!

Ever imagine getting the powers of the Q as a woman scorned?

I read the book, had the opportunity to see John DeLancie at a convention and discovered he and Majel Barrett recorded the audio book. After listening to what a delightfully entertaining speaker he was, I bought the cassette and got it autographed. It was unfortunately lost in Katrina. I later befriended Peter David, and I often use quotes from the book in my day to day life. Thank you Peter, John and Majel where you may be for the memories and fandom that has changed my life. That was my very first convention, and will not be my last.
