Lovely
I really enjoyed this sweet regency love story. At times, I wondered if the female MC was ever going to get over her “no one loves me” mentality, but when the the male MC finally steps up, it was in such a good way. I will say, some moments also had me chuckling to myself with my headphones in, so I’m sure I looked like a crazy person while listening to it. All in all, I really liked the book and I look forward to read more of this series.

Loved it! Clean!
I enjoyed this book! Excited for the next in the series. I loved the vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the characters and the development/growth of them. Although, I would have like the book to be longer and the development to continue. Also would have liked more development in the main guy. I loved the friendships and forgiveness. I loved the way characters saw past the actions and looked at the motives/insecurities. There were many beautiful moments that pulled at my heart strings. I loved that everything was resolved. Well written!

Exceptional sweet regency romance!
I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet Regency romance! It captured my attention from the very beginning. A couple of quotes from this audiobook that seemed to sum it up are, "Could love come from loss . . . near strangers--bound together, but too far apart to come to know one another". Honestly this book moved me to tears as I identified with the true-to-life challenges Esther and Silas face. So well-written with a depth and richness of characters, without being verbose or redundant. I completely fell in love with both Esther and Silas as they worked to overcome their miscommunication and stubborn pride. (Smile) As this is the first book in a series, I can't wait to follow the stories of the surrounding characters!.
