It’s very spicy but rad fantasy world!
If you are a dark romantacy girlie into cool magic, enemies to lovers, dubious consent, and throuples this is a must read duology. I will say the only off putting thing is the narration changing with each chapter instead of by character but you’ll get used to it.
Interesting…almost
This author is obsessed with back door spice. No worries there, except that it has to be part of every arc in the barely pieced together plot of this book. The world and idea for this book series was good, if only it had been written or edited by someone interested in telling a story. Felt more like a cheesy porno story. The poor plot execution is just filler for the spice, which includes non consensual SA.
