Shattered Truths (Unabridged‪)‬

I did the read and listen, when I say Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber were the best narraters for this book, I mean they nail these characters! Andi and Zachary are my go to, top narrators when it comes to their work. They make you feel like you’re watching the book unfold. Not only can they navigate by reading the words in a book but the acting aspect of it makes them and the book more intriguing.

H Hunting has done it again!!!!! I never once paused while reading this book and I’ve got kids! That’s a statement! It’s just so attention sucking ly good!
This next gen Pucked series is everything I hoped for and more!
BJ, the figure skating hottie and Winter, the hockey playing queen of sass work so well together!
I love how each of them bring out good parts of the other. I love how caring BJ over Winters life.
And you knew, any kid of Randy Balls was gonna have some super hot scenes in the boudoir!
This book was fantastic! I can’t wait to keep reading about more Pucked kids! So good! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Shattered Truths is the third book in the Lies, Hearts, & Truths series by H. Hunting. This is BJ’ book. He is the son of Randy and Lily. BJ met Winter while home over summer break when he almost hit her with his Jeep. He took one of her hockey skates hostage in order to coerce her into meeting him for free skate at the skating arena. Their relationship grew from there.

I absolutely loved this book. These H. Hunting books have so much more emotional depth than her books written as Helena Hunting. Both Little Lies and Bitter Sweet Heart deal with a lot of emotional pain and trauma and Shattered Truths follows this trend. The book continues to be the kind of an excellent romcom the author is known for at the same time. BJ and Winter’s story was the kind of love story we all dream of where the lovers never stopped supporting and lifting each other up. The chemistry between the characters is nothing to sneeze at either! I listened to this as an audiobook and the narrators did a fantastic job of bringing this story to life. I played the book almost straight through without stopping! I have to admit that counting out the number of children from the Pucked series and offshoots makes me gleeful as I think of all the stories for H Hunting to still write in this world. I don’t want to say goodbye to characters who feel more like friends than fiction. I strongly recommend this book to readers who love romcoms, especially those of a sports/hockey bend.
