Publisher Description
Why has this classic been so popular over the years with its presence in films, books, radio, and television? It is the mythology of the primordial steps of man's advancement. We follow the fascinating progress of mankind from the savage jungle to our present time in every one of Burroughs' 28 chapters. David Ian Davies has achieved great success in capturing each character with their own unique sound. This removes the overall effect of just listening to a narration, but takes us to a more realistic imagery similar to hearing a full-cast performance.

Great classic story in audiobook format
If you're an ERB fan, or even if you aren't, this audiobook is a great value and an entertaining listen. The Tarzan books are timeless classics that can be enjoyed by any audience.
Hour's on End of Ingenious Imagination.
ERB keeps the reader absolutely captivated with Tarzan. This is no Disney movie tale. It is brutal, bloody, and savage, while altogether captivating. The production value is good too, and enables the reader to forget the world around them and be taken wholly into this timeless tale.
Tarzan ROCKS!
Tarzan of the Apes is my favorite book in the world. Never has a book made me feel they way this one did. Tarzan wasn't meant to be a Disney, singing, lover-boy. He is brutally savage and has feelings that go beyond Jane Porter. Even though the Disney Tarzan is cool as well you can't even compare the two. Tarzan's my hero and I'm only 11!
