Publisher Description
Billionaire Harker has everything he wants, except a child.
He’s finally chosen the mother. Alison is brilliant, kind and hard-working. Her genes will mesh perfectly with his. And it doesn’t hurt that he’s spent the last year fantasizing about taking her to his bed and doing all kinds of deliciously wicked things to her.
Alison can’t believe that her boss wants her to have his kid and that he wants to do it the old-fashioned way. She can’t imagine having sex with him. He’s Harker. Sure he’s kind of sexy in a dark, brooding way and when he barks orders her body naturally responds, but still…sex with Harker? She can’t do that, or can she? His offer is hard to refuse, and she’d only have to be with him until she got pregnant. It shouldn’t take long, right?
This steamy, later in life, friends to lovers, romantic comedy will have you laughing out loud. Harker is brusque, alpha and bossy. Alison is fine with that in the workplace. He is her boss after all, but she’s not sure about having his child. He’s not a fool and knows that she won’t do it for free. All he has to do is find the right price. Everyone has one.
This is book 1 in a 4 book series. Harker and Alison's HEA is at the end of book 4.

It was ok
I am a new reader for this author. I didn’t enjoy this book at all. Allison was becoming annoying increasingly as the story unfolded. Harper may be a Dom, but his actions were anything but..he never acknowledges his attraction to her being more than just so she can have his baby. Allison never seemed to be attracted to him. Yet the enter into this baby making arrangement and each moment of a dialogue from the wedding to the club was excruciating. The back and forth, the hurt feelings. The story just didn’t get better, but the opposite.
Imagine my surprise to see that it doesn’t end with this book. It ended in a cliffhanger🙄. I’m not even interested in seeing how it ends.
Just because I didn’t care for the story doesn’t mean someone else won’t. I’ll even try another book from the author.
Okay
Female character is annoying and overly naive.
Ok
It was just ok but not great.
