If you are already a fan of Dr. McClellan, much of the material in this book will be familiar, but he has compiled it in a way that it is accessible to a broader audience, including anyone who enjoys pop culture references woven into chapters elucidating the current state of Bible scholarship. I highly recommend this to fans who would like to have all of Dan's Greatest Hits in one volume.
If you are Bible-curious and have heard of Dan's social media but haven't the time to keep up with it, this is a great summary of the hundreds of videos he's posted. I recommend sticking with a chapter or two per listen as he doesn't shy away from getting into the details.
