Publisher Description
Imagine that you live on a picturesque communal garden square, an oasis in urban London where your children run free, in and out of other people's houses. You've known your neighbors for years and you trust them. Implicitly. You think your children are safe. But are they really? On a midsummer night, as a festive neighborhood party is taking place, preteen Pip discovers her thirteen-year-old sister Grace lying unconscious and bloody in a hidden corner of a lush rose garden. What really happened to her? And who is responsible?

Okay book
It has a good story line but the ending is flat
Good book disappointing ending
I know not all books need an ending but this just fizzled out, no retribution, no consequences, kinda made me feel like I’m still holding a grudge. Sexually active 13yos are also kinda gross.
Great read.
This book was a great read. I fell in love with her characters from the start. The good and the evil. The flow of the writing is solid and at a decent pace. The details of the story are relatable and real. I give her credit for broaching a very troubling reality. Tremendous respect for this author.
