Good Book
Good book. Liked the voice. Characters where well written along with the plot.
Painfully Horrible
Couldn't finish; I got through about 3/4 before I had to stop. The entire story goes like this: Him: "omg you caught me having sex with a servant, how can you stand to look at me and my one leg?!" Her: "I have no emotions, so it's okay, lets get married." The rest of the book focuses on the hero and heroine constantly in a state of "omg...did I offend you? Tell me if I offended you! How can you respect me anymore?" Even during the sex scenes. WIth a really sappy sub plot of the hero having one leg, and the heroine having an emotional problem arising from witnessing a rather laughable and random mob with pitchforks kill her mother (and yes, the sappy line of "please spare my baby" is wailed quite annoyingly by the shrill narrator). Seriously. Pass this one by.
