Not bad at all
This is the first of Davies recordings of Sherlock Holmes that I purchased and I really enjoyed listening to it. Davies paints a fantastic picture with his portayal of Sherlock Holmes. The only thing I didn't like about this collection was the last story. It was obviously not written by Sir Arthur Doyle and you can really tell that as you listen to it. It's not bad but its different from the writing styles of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The author of the last story portrays Sherlock Holmes with a more romantic side, rather than his classic intelligent self. Even so, I would definitely give this collection a thumbs up. Hope this review helps :-)
well read by the narrator + good stories
This recording has the appeal of original Holmes stories and is well read and acted out by the narrator. He convincingly uses several voices consistently and without being irritating! Recommended.

this is a good audeo book.
and is great for long car rides.
