Good if you like British accents and a variety of narrators
About 60% of this Audio Bible is narrated by Britishers (There are 13 different narrators and all are famous actors), and of the Britishers about 60% are men, so if you like the British accent you will enjoy this. I thought the female british accents were a little bit too much like Angela Lansbury's voice from the 90's TV show 'Murder She Wrote'. I think I'll skip listening to the Psalms from Michael York, who makes me feel like I'm listening to a dramatic Victorian Romance novel. Juliet Mills sounds like an annoying, aristocratic British Grandma and since over 14 hours of this recording are hers, I'm already missing out on 20% of the material to start with.
Roscoe Lee Browne, Edward Herrman, and Alfre Woodard greatly make up for the loss mentioned above. These and a few others like Edward Herrmann, Christopher Cazenove, David Warner, and Roger Rees are FANTASTIC narrators and I love them!
