Cool book + Narrator!
The narrator isn’t that bad if you speed it up to 1.25x , but even at the normal speed, I don’t get why there are so many negative reviews about the narrator. It’s an average narrator, nothing special, but not bad either.
It’s a ok book
The book in general is good but the narrator is terrible
Narrator reads too slow and makes his voice rise as though asking a question
Whoever published this audiobook as well as Tallstar’s Revenge should’ve gotten Mcleod Andrews to narrate them. This weirdo is raising his voice at the end of each sentence like he’s asking a question and slowly pronouncing each word. This book and SkyClan’s Destiny each have the same number of chapters, and yet the audiobooks have two different timestamps. This one is 13 hours while the other is only 11 hours, and it’s probably due to the distinct style of each narrator.
Mcleod Andrews has a very decisive, clipped and smooth narration which would’ve been much better for this book. He can also switch between character voices as smooth as Jim Dale does with Harry Potter, and I love the fact that his voice changes to match the pitches and octaves of the characters to show that they’ve gotten older
