Warriors: The Broken Code #5: The Place of No Stars

It starts as a bit uncontrolled then gets a bit controlled and starts a bit oddly but I like that about books I read/listen to!

I’m also a BIGGG fan of Warriors and I am hoping to get all the books soon!

This book is super action-packed I’m a huge fan of this series I love this book!

Ivy shook herself awake. It seemed like barely any time had passed at all. Birch was still in the same position, and Deer and Finch were just waking up and squirming towards her stomach.
“Birch,” she whispered. His fur prickled for a second in surprise and then he looked over at her.
“What is it, Ivy?”
“We need to find the Clans. We’re not safe here.” A chilling feeling of dread crept up her spine as she said those words, her fur raising. A cold wind blew through the cave. Nearby, just-returned Mossyleap and Mudpelt shook snow from their paws and fur. They didn’t meet her eyes. They had returned with empty paws, because the ThunderClan fresh-kill pile remained well-stocked and patrols were sent out twice a day, making it harder to hunt without being seen.
“They won’t take us back,” Mossytail said. “They might take you, but not us. Besides, we, want to, go live in the Cavern with, um-“
“She’s expecting her mate’s kits and he can’t tell you. For real, Mossytail. This is great!” Dawnstorm cut in.
“You’re going to be a mother, Mossytail? That’s amazing! Who’s the tom? Now I kind of feel old…” Ivy joked.
Mossytail‘s sharp green eyes, suddenly soft, looked down at her white paws. “His name’s Falling Rain, and he’s sweet and has these amazing blue eyes…” she trailed off. She clearly didn’t want to say more, so she steered the conversation away from that topic. “I’d be fine with you moving to the Cavern. Birch and I are going back to ThunderClan and we might see you on the border! I know you’re all grown up, and I’ll miss you, but you should be able to follow your own path.”
Smokebranch stood to the side, tears shining in his eyes.
“We’ll miss you too, Ivy. And you, Birch.” He said. Birch flicked his tail like, “nonsense!” but she could see the tiny drops of water shimmering at the corners of his eyes. The siblings filed out of the cave one by one, each stopping to murmur their goodbyes and nuzzle her kits. Once they had gone, another cold wind, this time flecked with snow and hail, blew through the cave. It wasn’t snowing. Her kits shivered in the warm curve of her belly. Birch curled himself around her protectively and she meowed, “We have to go back to ThunderClan.”
“How? They’ll never let us get close to the camp!”
“I had a dream. Lightningstar will let us in.”
“You and your kits, maybe, but not me.”
Another cold wind blew through the cave. Thunder crashed and a lightning strike carving the sky in two illuminated a shape in the entryway. Then everything went black.
