Josh is drawn to the beautiful single mother from the start. He wants a lot more than the friendship she offers. But Janine's past hide chilling secrets that have returned to haunt her... secrets with the power to keep them apart, forever.
Long awaited story doesn't disappoint
A Daddy for Daisy was so worth the wait. Throughout the previous books in the series we saw how Janine and Josh came to know each other. Josh was interested but Janine's previous marriage scarred. Janine is now in a place psychologically where she is trying to heal. Her experience is finally revealed to friends, family and us as readers. The Ferranti's are in the midst of their own trauma. There is certainly an unexpected twist as a past relationship of Nico's comes into play. CC Mackenzie has wonderful characters. We get to catch up with many of them in this touching story as Jan and Josh seek their happily ever after. Can't wait for the next book.
