This is a good series. Like the history of Oxford and environs.
A Fatal Mistake
I feel as though I've journeyed back fifty years to when I lived in England as a teenager much the same age as the protagonist. Learning the ropes as a young probationary constable and guided by her mentor, the aging Coroner has led to a charming series of police procedural mysteries.
