Two books in one
A Heart Speaks is a combination of two of LaVyrle Spencer’s novels in one book. First is “Forsaking All Others” about a spunky photographer and her model that doesn’t quite go as she first planned it. “A Promise to Cherish” is the second novel, about a quarter-Cherokee woman working in a man’s world. I enjoyed them both, but I think I was more partial to the second, except for one tiny mathematical/genetics error. See if you can spot it :)
