A Wonderful Read!
I truly enjoyed this book! As always, Ms. Watson’s ability to draw readers into plot lines and characters is unmatched. I became so invested in the well being and relationship of Brighde and Tormund, that I could not put the book down! I also love the historical touches and dialogue…those help me paint such a vivid picture of the landscapes, culture, and people. 10/10 would recommend.
I love forbidden romance!
I loved this story of generational feuds and forbidden love. The way the heroes fill the void in each other made me root for them from the beginning. Tormund’s internal struggle, whether to set aside old resentment for the hope of something better or to exact the revenge he and his family deserve, is a theme that applies to so many situations. I laughed and hoped and cried and fell in love. Read this book!
