A friend with secrets.
A dangerous painting.
A tangle of clues that don't add up.
When mystery author Tiggy Jones leaves a London auction house, she glimpses a woman who looks a lot like her missing friend, Nessa.
The chance encounter spirals into a complex and deadly mystery that won't let Tiggy go: coded messages, strange disguises and an old French portrait that she fears is a fake.
Will the unscrupulous art dealer really stop at nothing to get his hands on it?
And why won't Nessa tell Tiggy the truth about what's going on?
As the mystery deepens, and a second person is found dead, Tiggy realises that her amateur sleuthing is not safe.
For others.
And for herself.
A Missing Signature is Book 2 in the addictive Tiggy Jones Mystery Series.

Missing friends and murder
A Missing Signature is book #2 in the Tiggy Jones Mystery Series series by Virginia King.
Tiggy has lost touch with her friend, Nessa. Outside a London auction house, she thinks she sees her. Is it her or is Tiggy imagining things?
I couldn’t put it down. I couldn’t wait to see how the threads of the various stories were woven into a masterful story. It was interesting trying to figure out people’s motives and whether they could be trusted. I enjoyed how Tiggy was taking her experiences and putting them into her book. I could never have guessed how things would wrap up. I was as surprised as Tiggy. I look forward to the next book to see what is in store for Tiggy and her friends.
