A Promise for the Twins
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Harlequin Romance via NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
This was a cute story. I read it in one setting. Nick comes back home with three things that he needs to accomplish. First, fulfill a promise to a soldier who saved his life; two, check in on his father who he has been estranged from for several years and third and finally leave and go far away to buy his dream ranch. Unfortunately for him the first proves to be a little more complicated than he thought. Checking up on Brooke to see if she and the twins are okay isn't quick and easy. He can see that she isn't fine. She is struggling with working as a wedding planner while caring for twin three month old babies. He decides to take her up on her ad for a nanny. The rest is filled with heartbreak, tears and understanding.
I enjoyed the dual POV format. Seeing into the characters' thoughts really helps me to fully understand the character. I truly felt for Nick. I also enjoyed reading how he took to the twins, Mikey and Morgan.
This is a sweet, clean romance. I highly recommend it to anyone.
