A SEAL’s Devotion

ARC for honest review with no compensation.

A SEAL’s Devotion is book 7 of the SEAL’s of Chance Creek series and it was wonderful catching up with everyone. It feels like coming home and checking in on close friends.

It’s now Anders Olson’s turn to get married and things don’t look promising. Enter Eve and now things get interesting, however they both have a lot of secrets.

Leave it to Cora to twist and turn a plot that keeps you turning pages until the book is over when you want it to go on forever!!

I was a little wary of reading this, because I've read only the first book of the series and it was quite awhile ago. But, you don't have to be familiar with the series as a whole to know what's going on, as there's enough information interspersed throughout this book from the previous ones to have a basic understanding of what came before. All of that being said, I did enjoy this book and it's characters. I liked Eve and Anders, and I liked that their attraction came naturally. Yes, they do have to marry quickly, but they also have common ground which draws them together. The question of the story is can they both get past their secrets and deceptions to get to that HEA. It was an interesting turn to the ending for everything to come to a head, but it was nice in the way that it did. I plan to go back and read the rest of the series at some point to get the full story of Base Camp after reading this.
