Impressed
I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from this one but wow did the author deliver! I was pleasantly to find it was more than a book about romance. The relationship between the main character and her parents was heart wrenching. I’m someone super close to their parents so this hurt my heart for Mina. Mina and Emmit were truly adorable. I loved the beginning of their relationship to the end of it. The progression was *chef’s kiss*. The supporting characters were my favorite lol. They were all so perfectly put in this story. I also really liked the war happening within Mina about her culture and how that tired into her identity. Overall it was a 3.5.
