Captivating start to a new series
A SIMPLE SEDUCTION is the first in Janna MacGregor's Millionaires of Mayfair series. Lady Honoria Ardeerton is the sister of the Duke of Pelham. Their father was horribly cruel, and besides frequently berating all of them, essentially disowned her and vowed to destroy her future. After he is dead and gone, Honoria avoids London, preferring to remain in the countryside. She does determine to find a night of pleasure, as a gift to herself. She happens to meet Marcus Kirkland, the Earl of Trafford, her brother's best friend. As they've never met before, they don't realize that connection. Their chemistry is immediate and powerful.
Janna MacGregor's writing is engrossing and captivating. Honoria and Marcus are lovely together, and I could not help but root for them to find a path to their happiness. A wonderful start to this series!
