Dealing with a difficult mother-in-law and fighting for her fiancé's attention is proving to be a little more than what she signed up for.
Meanwhile…
Andrea struggles to accept her inability to help her sick and dying mother while trying to navigate her budding love life and strengthening the bond of trust between her and her daughter.
Come along for the ride and find out how it all ends. Can the engagement survive the mother-in-law from hell? Or will the bride not make it down the aisle this holiday season?

A Spectacular Event is book 6 in the Oak Harbor series by Kimberly Thomas and up next is Rory’s story.
What happens when you feel neglected..you head back home to family to figure out what comes next…will she and James figure it out? Will James fight for Rory or will her soon to be MIL split them up for good? Only time will tell…
Family, babies, drama, sadness, memories and more…can’t wait for the next book in this series.
Lenora is a momzilla
Wow, it seems like Rory has her hands full with her future mother-in-law. Will she get her dream wedding or will Lenora get her way? This story is centered around Rory and James, but Lenora plays a big part in it. Lenora doesn’t think Rory is good enough for her son and she doesn’t hide her feelings. Will James finally stand up to his mom or will he continue to support her over Rory? I won’t leave any spoilers, but I will say James is lucky Rory loves him as much as she does, lol.
