Although I don't have the powers the rest of my family does, I think I might have been having visions about Danu being attacked. All I need to do is figure out what they mean and find out who is behind the attacks before my cousin pays - one way or another. It's just a little hocus pocus. Right?

Loved this intro to a new series!
This book is the first in a series about a young high school girl from a witch family but without any magic. Her cousin gets in trouble at school for something she didn’t do and Charley decides to look into it. Along the way, we are introduced to her friends as well as Charley’s boy troubles.
Well written and I’m ready to start the next one!
Secrets Abound
"A Witchy Mistake", the first book in a new series by Ronda Hopkins, introduces us to Charley, a typical teen with typical teen problems: does she like Jackson as more than a friend; does Jackson like her as more than a friend; can she save her cousin from jail; can she keep the rest of the school from finding out that a number of her family members are witches; and then there's Nate. To add to her angst, her mother's pig has taken to talking to her by casting messages into her mind. But, whatever happens, just don't make Grandma Ruby mad.
A witchy mistake
A good story line but there wasn’t any real conclusion, it just felt unfinished. The ending was more of a lead into the next book.
