Publisher Description
Jack Winston may be Hollywood’s biggest action hero, but he’s seriously burned out. He can’t even save himself from his PR team’s latest scheme: dating a starlet. But when his assistant accidentally tags Cassidy James from Blink, Maine (wherever that is) on social media, the paparazzi decide that she’s Jack’s latest fling. Now Jack needs to do some serious damage control…starting with the adorable home reno pro in paint-splattered overalls.
Cassidy is not prepared when the Jack Winston shows up in her quiet little town—and whew, he is that gorgeous in person. Before she can pick her jaw up off the floor, his PR team is bombarding them with a whole new plan involving “fake girlfriend,” “optics,” and “sign this NDA” (whatever that is). But no one warned her that Mr. A-List Action Star is hot, funny as all get out, and loves old houses as much as she does.
Now they have two weeks to convince everyone they’re in a fake relationship—two weeks that will drive Cassidy’s reno business through the roof and help Jack reclaim his “spark.” The plan is going fine, dare she say, perfectly...until she discovers something that will change everything.

PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Clarke's adorable second Hideaway Harbor romance (after Accidentally Perfect) follows Blink, Maine, local Cassidy James, who inherited her father's construction business and is now putting her passion for historic restoration to use by restoring the Victorian estate of her childhood crush, Tristan McGuffy. When Tristan returns to the tiny seaside town, Cassidy is hopeful they might finally have a shot at love—until her life is unexpectedly upended by an Instagram snafu. On the other side of the country, Hollywood superstar Jack Winston's assistant accidentally tagged Cassidy (instead of Jack's sister) in a post that makes it sound like she and Jack are together. The paparazzi descend on Blink in droves, prompting an apologetic visit from Jack and his entourage. Soon, Cassidy learns that Tristan, the man she thought was her prince, is actually a frog, and she and Jack begin to fall for each other instead (much to the dismay of Jack's manager). This unlikely pair is sure to win readers' hearts, and though the setup is far-fetched, Clarke makes it so much fun that readers won't mind. An appealing supporting cast—especially Cassidy's bubbly bestie, Amanda, and (surprisingly) Jack's cutthroat manager, Marion—underpin the enchanting narrative. Readers looking for kisses-only small-town romance will devour this enjoyable tale.

Loved it!
Another wonderful visit to the town of Blink. And what an exciting visit it was, especially for Cassidy. Cassidy is just going about her day filming her little diy web show for her 5 viewers when her life changes. All of a sudden her show is super popular and she can’t figure out why, until actor Jack Winston shows up in Blink. Jack was losing excitement for his acting roles and felt like he was missing something, he found what he was missing when he showed up in Blink. The fact that Cassidy didn’t fawn all over Jack when she met him made her even more attractive to him even though he was already intrigued by her. I loved these two and they were fabulous together even when they were pretending for the sake of his career. You could just tell that neither of them were faking what they felt and they were exactly what the other needed in their lives.
I am a fan of fake relationship stories and this one was a fun one. I didn’t want to put it down once I started reading.
Delightful fake romance
I loved this book! Jack Winston is a movie star, and is burned out. When his assistant accidentally tags the wrong person on social media, a small town YouTuber, the Paparazzi thinks it his is his new girlfriend. Cassidy James lives in Blink, Maine population 300. Her home renovation YouTube channel had five viewers, her fellow home renovators. When her channel start growing exponentially, and the paparazzi show up, she realizes something is amiss. Jack wants to make things right, when his shark of an agent decides that starting a fake relationship with Cassidy could be good for both of their careers. All of the characters are so much fun, and I love a well written fake romance trope. While this is the second book in the series, it can be read as a stand-alone (though I suggest you read the first book, it was good as well). I received an arc of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.
