Act of Command
Another action packed, edge of your seat storyline with wonderful characters. This is the fourth book in the PSI-OPS series and is about Captain Corbin and Mae. Corbin gets distracted and misses his blind date with Mae that his mother set up. There are consequences to his actions and now he has to get Mae back before she is lost forever. We get new characters, PSI-OPS is still dealing with The Corporation and their evil plans.

Interesting and exciting
Mae and her best friend Alice were immortals and were college roommates together. Corbin and his team were part of an elite group of special ops for supernaturals. Their latest operations were rescuing and shutting down breeding and sex trafficking rings of immortals of all kinds. Mae and Corbins mothers set them up on a blind date because his mother saw a piece of art of Maes’. Neither Mae nor Corbin wanted to go on the date. But interesting and exciting things happened and then their date was canceled. But fate intervened again and Corbin and Mae were on a roller coaster of a journey filled with danger, intrigue, betrayal, misinformation, fear and love as they find their HEA. Fun read.

Many twists and turns
This series has so many twist and turns that one can easily become confused. I don't feel the books in this series, and those related to it, can be read independently. Corbin is the boss and the one with the most control, so it was easy to figure out that his mating would not be easy. Mae, a virgin, is captured for mating. The initially implied, then confirmed connection between the centuries old Corbin and the 23 year old Mae as interesting. I did enjoy this book, just felt there was a large time and action gap between chapter one and two.
