Active Retirement

This crime-mystery novel is comprised of four stories, a series with the same main protagonists but each chapter can be read as a story. The main protagonist is a retired Boston detective who becomes a member of a rural police force. He gets a dog, becomes police chief, and had to deal with murders and other crimes.
