Blackstone Cases

This crime-mystery novel is comprised of five sequential stories with the same protagonists but each chapter can be read as a separate story. The main protagonist is a black, lesbian detective. She has a male partner and they work closely with other detective teams. The cases include a few murders, attempted frauds, and the inevitable intrigue associated with the crimes.
