Great continuation of the series
As with all the books in this series the characters continue to evolve and grow. The complexity of weaving two radically different societies to deal with a vile evil that knows no compromise is a page turner and keeps you rooted in the story. The subplots of fully human, enhanced humans and machines coming to terms with each other while trying to survive the true alien onslaught is compelling. Throw in the “One” and their group awareness as they help their ‘pets’ (human and machine) and tale just gets more interesting.
I can hardly wait for more in this series, though all of the works of C. Gockel are wonderfully fun to read!
