Captain Dewi Fokke never believed in curses. At least not until her ship, De Nederlander, went dead in the region spacers call the Sargasso Sea. Stranded with a mysterious passenger named Van der Decken, she soon discovers the legends of the Flying Dutchman have followed humanity into the stars.
