Like a movie
This book reads like a movie. I can see it all happening in my head as I read it. Not all books I read have this kind of magic. Loved it
Irritating
So far, it’s annoying that one of the characters is speaking in French without explaining what’s he’s saying.
Also unsettling that the taxi driver is offering up one of his daughters as a date to strangers after asking if they made a good living.
I’ll update later
Story was good
The story was a good read but not realistic at all. Nonetheless, I like the buildup and the plot and the supporting characters.
