A marriage of convenience can test even the best of friends.
Holden Henry is every girl’s dream—kind, funny, outgoing. A catch in every sense. Despite my wrong-side-of-the-tracks upbringing, he’s been my friend forever. He has no idea I’ve had more-than-friends feelings for him for years, and I intend to keep it that way.
When I’m forced to return to the small town where we grew up, I’m faced with a big, fat problem. Being a good pal, Holden offers me a too-tempting solution: a marriage of convenience. It’s a crazy plan…but I’m desperate enough to try it. Besides, he’s not just saving me; we’ll be helping each other.
The catch? We have to stay married for a year. But once I inherit the company of my dreams and Holden launches his own start-up, we can go back to being just friends, right? Except…what if he figures out that I’ve been in love with him forever? Worse, what if I have to choose between the career I’ve always wanted and the man I can’t live without?
Welcome to Dragonfly Lake, a small town on a picturesque lake in Tennessee, where the waters run deep, the neighbors are nosy, and love is in the air. Unraveled is a stand-alone story in the Henry Brothers series.

I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
What an awesome start to a series. I loved how this series is a spin off of the North Brothers and even mention of a few characters of Hale Street. All of these characters felt like old friends when I was reading their stories so I felt like I was able to get caught up with them again.
Chloe is EVP working for an international boutique hotel company. She is summoned to her hometown by her boss as that is the location of a new hotel for them. Her boss has terminal cancer and tells Chloe that she wants Chloe to finish up the construction on this particular location. The boss is trying to determine who should feel her shoes when she passes. It is between workaholic Chloe and a married Gloria. Chloe doesn't have a personal life as she has lived for the company.
To fool her boss, Chloe and her oldest and dearest BFF, Holden Henry, decide to marry for a year to help secure the promotion. Holden works in the family restaurant but dreams of opening a brewery with his friend. Unfortunately they are lacking an investor to help launch the new brewery. To help compensate Holden for his help, Chloe funds the brewery with enough cash to put them into business.
Will this marriage of convenience, last past the due date Chloe and Holden put on it? Will Chloe get past her unease of her hometown? Can these two get past a few hurdles that crop up from time to time?
This is a delightful story that will warm your heart and give a few chuckles here and there. This is a sexy read just so you know. Also this story is written in a dual POV format. Getting that glimpse into the character's thoughts, really help me to better understand and enjoy the characters. I can't wait for the next book in this series.
