Once upon a time there was a princess with an evil step mother, who wanted her dead, and a prince ready to stand by her side…
Ian Kelly never thought he'd see her again. The woman who ran out on him after some of the hottest sex of his life. Taylor Carter. He knows a damsel in distress when he sees one, but Taylor doesn't want saving.
Taylor only meant to do the right thing. Now she's on the run from her mafia step-mother and her best friend might be dead. Even the FBI has turned on her, and the only person in her corner is a hot Irishman with a nose for danger.
Ian can't turn his back on Taylor, not when his gut tells him she's an innocent in a den of thieves. Soon enough her past comes calling, and it'll take more than true love's kiss to fix Taylor's problems.

Lacked a Lot
Just wasn’t for me but if you like spicy retelling of fairy tales might be your bag of chips. Rating is more like 1.5
So it’s an interesting smut piece but not great. FL was an absolute irritation and her stubbornness made the interaction with the the love interest make me want to say”he clearly deserves better “. Main Antagonist was someone I wanted to cheer on honestly and the death would make a top 10 disappointment mojo list. The threat didn’t feel real enough, motivation was lost here and there, and character speech consistency made imagination hard to place. Wouldn’t read again. Smut was low tier and story was like internet novel style reading. An additional 30pgs would’ve helped with the conclusion of antagonist death, FL fighting brink of death, and ML feeling more in love.
It was an ok read. Pretty cheesy, but nice modern spin on a fairy tail. Some things were repeated multiple times, honestly if it wasn’t free I wouldn’t buy it.
