"I don't believe it," said in a low, cruel voice. I had to raise my head to meet his stare. Is he the latest bully? I've never seen him before.
"What is your name?" He's in the dark, yet his eyes sparkled like sapphires in the moonlight. Curious.
"Your name." I detected a strange tone in his voice. Too demanding... too strong.
"Uh..." what is my name? Except for the cafe's barista, no one is interested in my name.
"Don't make me repeat myself. "Please state your name." "Nathalia Nicolai." I was taken aback by his ranting. For a brief moment, I observed... amusement, followed by loathing.
"I, Alpha Chase Ashton Michael, rejects you Nathalia Nicolai as my mate and Luna of Bloodridge pack."
"Huh?" Should I say anything like, 'Nice to meet you'?
"Please repeat after me. As your mate and luna of Bloodridge pack, I, Nathalia Nicolai, accept your refusal." He gives me a nod. Ok? I go over the entire verse again.
"Good." He stated that he was letting go of me and exiting.
"Wow." My only remark. That's a novel method of introducing yourself and rejecting people. I took a sip of my beverage.
"But that's really uselss." I grinned as I exited the room.
