Waste of time *spoilers*
I wanted to like this series (yes, I read all three). At best it is shallow and formulaic; at worst they’re full of stupid, sloppy grammatical errors and barely-there characters. By the time I’d forced myself to get through Brave (third book) I was well and truly over it.
If you’ve read just one single book by this author, you don’t need to read these. They are ALL the same: troubled female human protagonist meets amazing hunk of man, resistance and miscommunications happen, they make up, they eventually have sex. Protagonist is actually not human! The world is gonna end! Scrappy lady and her hunk must assemble a team of varied and at times antagonistic members and by some miracle, it eventually works. World: SAVED.
Ugh. Even the sex was boring! If I have to read the phrase “the bundle of nerves at the apex of my thighs” ONE MORE TIME I swear to everything always that I might actually scream.
Seriously. Don’t bother; there’s nothing here of interest.
Omg this book !!
The thill! The excitement! The romance! The backstabbing!! How does she do it!! I stated the book thinking it was going to be boring when I got the sample and I had to buy it!! The could not put the book down until I was done! Ren and ivy went through so much... And the end!! Omg it killed me!! Val killed me to! How could she backstab like that!! Then rink and his cute self! I just want to keep reading... I tried preordering the next book and couldn't find it! Now I really can't wait til summer! This book is on my shelf as on of my favorite books now!!
