Teddy is a Werebear in a small area of mountains , where only Werebears exist. He is surrounded by his many adopted brothers, all of them insanely big, and ready to throw down. Teddy senses a strong smell, of a human climbing the mountain near his cabin. He hides and sees a woman, and a man approaching a cliff. They are there to spread the ashes of their parents, but the man is greedy, has ulterior motives, and attempts to kill her so he can claim all the inheritance.
Lana is the woman on the mountain, that the stepbrother is attempting to kill. Dodging her stepbrother, Lana falls and hits her head on a rock. Teddy lunges at the stepbrother, but he gets away, while Teddy checks on Lana. Teddy’s bear wants Lana as Teddy’s mate, but Teddy has had a bad experience with another human female.
Teddy takes care of Lana, but he is aware that her brother has hired hit men to kill her. All the brothers protect her when the hired killers attempt to kill her, with the help of one of Teddy’s brothers she escapes, to hide in a mountain, while all the hit men are being dealt with. Teddy finds her and apologizes for not trusting her, he admits that she is his mate. He takes her home, and the couple finally obtain their HEA.
I’ve read some books written by Renee Rose, but Lee Savino is a new-to-me author. I enjoyed this book, and completely recommend it, to anyone who loves to read about shifters.

This was a really cute story. Lana & Teddy developed a cute bond immediately that had me smiling while reading. Plus I loved reading about the brothers and how easily it was for Lana to capture their hearts also.
