Publisher Description
Violet Abrams may have been a bridesmaid no less than seven times, but her wedding day was near—she could feel it. Until her longtime boyfriend left her for someone else. That’s just fine—she has her photography and a new project redesigning her sister’s bakery to keep her happy and fulfilled. Fast-forward to the day of his wedding, though, when Violet might have accidentally, totally not on purpose, started a fire. And... Officially the worst day ever.
Firefighter Ford Maguire thought he’d seen it all. Until he’s called out because someone tried to set the local bakery on fire…with a wedding magazine? The little arsonist might be the cutest woman he’s ever seen, but he’s too career-focused to consider something serious. Still, Violet seems like a great person to help him navigate his upcoming “man of honor” duties in his best friend’s wedding.
Pretty soon, not only is Violet giving him lessons on all things weddings, she’s helping him train his latest rescue-dog recruit puppies and weaving her way seamlessly into his lone-wolf lifestyle. But forever is the last thing on Ford’s mind, and if there’s one thing a perpetual bridesmaid knows, it’s the importance of a happily ever after.

Fun and charming read!
Always a Bridesmaid by Cindi Madsen is a sweet and charming small town romance with very likeable characters and story. Violet is reeling after a bad breakup and is looking start fresh; but is also carrying a lot of baggage. Ford is a sexy and charming firefighter who wants nothing to do with commitment. Enter Violet. I loved watching them meet, fall and get to know each other. Such a delightful read with all the best feels.
Happy reading!
Fun read
I love a good wedding story, especially when it features engaging characters, an interesting plot and awesome banter. Always A Bridesmaid had all of that and more, thanks to great writing by Ms.Madsen. This book was an easy read that made me laugh but also frustrated me a bit.
Ford was a wonderful match for Violet. He was encouraging and patient with her often lack of focus, due to her ADHD. Yes, he had an almost allergic reaction to the word forever, while she had a sparkly wedding binder that she’s been adding to for 10 years. They seem like opposites but they have more in common deep down than they realize.
Each character had flaws that the reader is asked to overlook. While one character grew more than the other, in my opinion, I didn’t like the words that character used against the other. Not trying to be vague on purpose, but I’m trying not to give anything away, either.
Regardless, I enjoyed this book very much and definitely recommend it.

Welcome to Uncertainty, Alabama.
Where Ford, the firefighter is hot and comes equipped with an axe and a dog named Pyro,
Where Violet has had an epic bad day, has sworn off men after catching her BF cheating and set a fire.
This story focuses on Ford and Violet but includes their family and friends in supporting roles.
Violet has been a bridesmaid seven times and she's over it. She's wedding obsessed (Pinterest all planned out).
I enjoyed the OTH references and really liked Ford.
Recommend.
