Always a Friend is Tanner and Mariana’s story.
Out of the blue Kellan (Coles father) comes back into town and Mariana is not prepared. She hasn’t told Cole or Tanner about who Coles father is. Unexpectedly she tells Kellan that she is dating Tanner and will be going to the wedding with Tanner. Tanner is more of a father to Cole than Kellan ever would be but Mariana still wants to give Kellan a chance.
Everyone knows really quick that Mariana and Tanner are dating but Tanner denies it every time. He is struggling with his own place in the world and not wanting to tell anyone what he actually likes to do. He doesn’t seem happy running the Surf Hut anymore and thinks everyone sees him as a failure.
This story was also kind of about Johnny because everyone in the family is a little worried about him. It was interesting to find out the truth about what he actually does for a living.
I was glad that Tanner and Mariana finally decided what they wanted in life. I was heartbroken for Cole but he gets plenty of love from the rest of the Kelly’s and he’s super smart so he quickly bounced back.
I’m excited to see where everyone is in the fourth book and if Johnny is able to get his woman back.

Another great story!
Another heartfelt romantic story that gives you all the feels! This single mother and laid-back surfer are friends and their relationship goes through a lot until they find what they had in front of them the whole time. I adored this story and can’t wait for the next one!
Always A Friend is the third book in the Always in Love series.

Best friends to lovers, who saw that coming?
I loved this book so much, I had so many emotions! I was excited, thrilled, sad, angry, happy, shocked, feelings of the love expressed. So many emotions. I loved it so much!
Mariana is a single mother of a young boy named Cole. One day, her ex and the father of her son shows up wanting to be a part of their life again.
Tanner is the guy who surfs and is pretty chill about life. Mariana is his best friend. When Mariana asks Tanner to pretend to be a couple, things get complicated.
I absolutely adore every one of the Kelly family. Their milkshake addiction makes me crave a milkshake every time I read about it, I think it might become my new favorite drink! But this story was absolutely perfect to show how love comes about in the most unexpected ways.
