Verbose
And unfortunately not in a good way.. I'm hoping this comes out more as constructive criticism, but teens truly do not verbalized their feelings in the way it was portrayed in this book. The plot was also a bit filmy, as there was no clear motive behind Dr. Jones' motivation, but everyone else involved had there situations talked to death. There is a real need here to research conversations with people in particular age groups.. I read it till the end is why I even gave a star, but otherwise this was an incredibly weak freshman attempt at book writing. The author needs to acquaint himself with similar pieces from Alice Hoffman or even Erica Spindler, both of which have a strong grip of when and how much dialogue needs to be interjected..
