Anne of the Island
Very enjoyable after seeing the movies.
I was impatient at some of the descriptive sentences of flowers and breezes and colored hues… but in retrospect that was enhancing the story.
Anne
I liked it but if you have a short attention span and/or you don’t like long drawn out books, I wouldn’t recommend. It was really good though.Btw I’m 13 but I would recommend to an older age group because it was on a higher reading level than what most middle schoolers read and many would find it boring.
Another Good Novel from Anne of Green Gables
I overall enjoyed reading the third novel of this series, Anne of Green Gables. I got to read about Anne leaving her beloved home of Green Gables to Redmond College and the stories/experiences during her four-year tenure. My only criticism is that I feel the same about some over-detailing and over-articulation about some parts of the novel from the previous ones. Also, the fact that Anne just rejected two boys who confessed their love from the times spent with her confuses me so much. So I’m taking a star from all that, but I, again, overall had enjoyed reading such an interesting novel.
