HGTV’s Property Brothers meets The Marriage Bargain in this second volume in the Billionaire Builders series, an all-new heart-wrenching and sexy contemporary romance from New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Probst.
When she was a teen, Raven Bella Stratton’s father was killed in a horrible car crash. The bigger shock was the discovery of a woman with him—Diana Pierce—and their two fully packed suitcases with airline tickets to Paris. Devastated by her father’s betrayal, Raven went to live with her aunt, never truly overcoming the traumatic event. When she discovers that the mysterious woman had a family with a husband and three boys, Raven vows to leave the memory of her father behind.
Until Dalton Pierce visits one night and suddenly her past challenges her future...
Leaving his life in California behind to run Pierce Construction with his two older brothers, Dalton Pierce has enjoyed returning home and studying his passion of woodworking. But when he visits the local bar with his brothers one evening, he’s immediately drawn to the smart-mouthed, badass, sexy bartender who sets his body on fire. Unfortunately, she doesn’t seem as intrigued by him, and his multiple advances are met with rejection. When he offers to restore the bar back to its original glory, he begins to work with her on a daily basis, and falls harder. His plan of seduction slowly weaves a web around them both, until they are caught up in the spell. But Dalton doesn’t know the secret that can either destroy them both...or finally mend two broken hearts.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Jennifer Probst is a master of the enemies-to-lovers story. In Any Time, Any Place, a dash of family tragedy adds poignancy. Mixologist and restaurateur Raven Stratton knows to steer clear of playboy carpenter Dalton Pierce, but Dalton is determined to get his hands on Raven’s…bar. A renovation project forces the pair together and brings things to a boiling point. Fans of the Billionaire Builders series will be thrilled to see old characters return, but new readers will find this book holds up as a standalone.
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Probst charms with the second in her Billionaire Builders series (after Everywhere and Every Way), the sweetly sexy tale of a sensitive man in a construction company and a gutsy and fiercely independent bar owner with a big secret. After Raven Hawthorne's beloved father is killed in a car crash with Diane Pierce, a married woman, at his side, Raven swears to exact revenge on Diane's sons, whom she blames for spreading the rumor that her father seduced an unwilling Diane away from her family. Dalton Pierce was forced to return to his Connecticut home town by the terms of his father's will, which required him and his brothers to take over the family construction business. When he meets Raven, who's in her element as the owner and chief mixologist of local hangout My Place, he realizes she may be the one woman who can interest him in romantic commitment. Both Raven and Dalton carry deep wounds from the past, inflicted after her father and his mother ran off together. When Dalton finds out the secret Raven's hiding, it could spell doom for their relationship. Probst creates a realistic, incredibly relatable couple whose mistakes might be anyone's, surrounding them with a stellar cast of characters, including a setup of the relationship that will likely feature in the sequel to this well-plotted, endearing story.

Another Gem for Probst
Let me start by saying I have not read a book by Jennifer Probst that I did not absolutely love. Any Time, Any Place is no exception. This beautifully written book takes you on a journey about love, forgiveness and the pains it takes to get there. Probst weaves a story that makes you feel every emotion her characters are feeling - laughter, joy, anger, love and true heart break. And in the end makes it a enlightening journey of self and lifetime happiness. You don't want to miss out on this series. Another gem for Probst.
Anytime anyplace
Dalton and Raven was it fate? Hard to say...they both lost a parent in a car accident, neither knew why their parents left with a one way ticket to Paris and would leave their children behind. Dalton loved his mom, but he was hardened by his mothers death. Raven loved her dad but blame Dalton family for her fathers death. However, Dalton and Raven found more and more in common until they could not deny their love for one another. Book heavy on heart at times, but it's also funny warm hearted story.
Loving this series
Dalton and Raven have a way of making everything seem sexual. Their chemistry sizzles off the page, it's a miracle they managed to keep their hands off each other for so long. I loved the build up though. Raven tried really hard because Dalton is supposed to be the enemy, but eventually she gives in to his charming and persuasive ways. I knew it was going to get bad when he found out the truth, but there was a part of his reaction I did not expect. I'm loving this series, can't wait for Tristan's book!
