Publisher Description
Step aside, Jason Bourne: David Slaton, the perfect assassin, returns for another adrenaline-packed adventure by USA Today bestselling author Ward Larsen in Assassin's Code.
Former assassin David Slaton discovers a cryptic message: on a memory stick, a photograph of the man who will soon assume command of DGSI, France’s elite counterterrorism force. With that country reeling under a wave of ISIS attacks, Zavier Baland will be trusted to make the Republic safe again. The problem—Slaton has seen Baland’s face before. He is Ali Samir, a terrorist Slaton is certain he killed fifteen years earlier. Unable to reconcile this frightening disconnect, he attempts to raise the alarm.
Thousands of miles away, the chief information officer of ISIS tries to keep networks running amid crumbling infrastructure. With the caliphate’s very survival at stake, the leadership commits to a last-ditch gambit: France must be attacked on a massive scale, forcing the West into the battle of the Apocalypse.
Slaton keeps a breakneck pace, traveling to Tel Aviv, Paris, and the deserts of Syria. In the end he uncovers a labyrinthine plot—and one that only he can stop.

PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Larsen's exciting fourth David Slaton adventure (after 2016's Assassin's Silence) finds the retired Mossad operative and legendary Israeli hit man, who has been sailing the world with his wife and toddler son in a custom-fit catamaran, in Palawan, an archipelago in the Philippines. There David comes into possession of a memory stick that contains recent images of terrorist Ali Samir, whom he thought he assassinated 15 years earlier. Unravelling this mystery leads David to Paris after a stop in Israel to touch base with his former employers. Larsen efficiently shifts perspective among the four principal characters David; Uday, ISIS's chief information officer; Zavier Baland, the next in line to become head of DGSI, France's internal security service responsible for counterterrorism; and Malika, an ISIS-trained assassin as the action builds to a truly thrilling climax. This novel has all the essentials: well-rounded characters, pithy dialogue, and intrigue galore, plus a few moments left over for some musing on how terrorism evolves.)

Nice job

Intriguing
This man knows how to grab you by the throat. Many faceted characters especially David and his enemies…no one dimensional dudes here. The scenes are so vivid you feel if you’re right there. Lucky us! Yippee.
Assassins Code
Another great read by Mr. Larsen. Am looking forward to his next winner.
