Side Story During the Laconian Empire
“Auberon” is another of the Expanse Novellas by “James S. A. Corey” that tells a side story between the seventh and eight novels. In spite of this, it is often called # 8.5 in the Expanse Series.
Auberon is one of the most successful colonies that have developed beyond the ring gates. It’s biosphere is mostly compatible with earth life. To this highly developed and successful colony world comes Biryar Rittenaur and his wife Mona. Governor Rittenaur is a Laconian Empire true believer, and he immediately clashes with the corrupt underground led by a familiar person known as Erich…
This is another of the novellas that tell a story that fleshes out the Expanse. It’s not critical to the main story, but is an interesting tale in its own right.
Great!
Wish it kept going...
