The Augmented trilogy is pure science fiction. Augmented: Source is told through the eyes of Dr. Hakeem Trenton, a scientist working with a team of others on a machine for interdimensional travel—COAAD: Creator of Augmented Alternative Dimensions. Augmented: Inquiry is the story of a mother who is thinking about paying for a COAAD trip in order to start a new life, and carefully considering all of the rumors she’s heard about the experience. Augmented: Submersion shows what a new life in a dimension of one’s choosing could look like.
