Bablah's Odyssey 08

Episode 08: Pet-Thing learns about the law and the advantages of flexible morality. He is dissuaded from pursuing a career as a lawmaker since lawmakers must forgo all contact with the general population to protect themselves from having their ideal vision tainted by the uncivilised masses they preside over.

A mad genius, Lord Bablah, takes a deficient mutant Pet-Thing he earlier created on a journey across the universe to teach him about the 'wonders of progress and civilisation'. Subjected to remorseless brainwashing, Pet-Thing asks the right questions but gets the wrong answers.

Bablah's Odyssey is an absurdist satire on humanity. Using intensely colourful imagery and surreal humour, the author turns the reader's attention to many ethical, environmental, and societal problems. The comic employs a light-hearted metaphor to convey many thought-provoking ideas in a digestible manner.
