Publisher Description
Darcy Blackmore, head of the Blackmore vampire clan, is one bossy, arrogant, insufferable piece of work.
He’s also my only hope.
I have to stop my sister from marrying his brother. A loveless, arranged marriage would kill her, but she’s determined to go through with it to keep our family safe. Nightfall tradition demands a witch and vampire marriage—ASAP—or we’re out.
Darcy’s solution?
We pretend we’re a love match, trick our siblings into confessing they don’t want to tie the knot, and sort out how to save the town once the wedding bells are silenced—permanently.
It’s not a bad plan. In theory.
If only hate-banging Darcy weren’t my new favorite hobby. If only he’d kept his secretly kind heart under wraps and this fake love had stayed fake...
Bad Blood is a red hot, enemies-to-lovers Standalone romance. Formerly titled My Big Fat Bloodsucker Wedding. Same addictive read, new title and cover.

finished in one way
it was fun and cute. lil plot holes here and there but pretty decent book
Best book of 2023
I didn’t know a book could be cute, charming, funny, hot, and steamy all at once until this book. Really great read. Made me wish vampires were real. You won’t regret this book.
Witchy, vampire goodness
I love a good paranormal book. I love a good, honestly funny rom-com story. But I flat out adore when both those worlds meet, to give me a tale that makes me laugh and keeps me on the edge of my seat. Bella Jacobs gave me that with My Big Fat Bloodsucker. Blaire is this perfect combination of strong and sassy, with a soft center hidden beneath the bluster. She’s not afraid to go head to head with Darcy, the grumpy, very rigid vamp in town. After all, she’s a big, bad witch…even if she’s just discovered that fact! Who else can help her break up her twin and his brother from their ill-conceived engagement. It’s not like they’ll actually fall for each other while pretending to fall for each other…right? Darcy…perfect name right there…has seen a lot in his 200 or so years. But nothing prepares him for the sharp wit and sharper tongue of the oldest Wonderfully sister. While he still possesses a soul, he’s certain any and all feelings he once had died with him when he was turned. He just wants to stop this wedding, save their town and avoid Blaire, for eternity. The humor in this book is laugh out loud funny. The dialogue is fantastic, especially the inner monologues of the leads. I liked the juxtaposition between the comedy and the drama of a town full of paranormal creatures. Vampires and witches and shifts (oh my!) call Nightfall, NH home, but really, they’re just like any small town. Everyone knows everyone else, and their business. There’s some bad guys, er, whatevers. It’s just a bit more magical. I’m loving this series, and we’ve only been given book one. But I predict there’s a lot more coming from the citizens of this town…and it looks to be a blast.
